唐小兵，华东师范大学历史系副教授
教育背景和工作经历：
1、1997年至2001年就读于湖南大学人文社会科学系新闻学专业。
2、2001年至2003年任教于湖南衡阳师范学院新闻系。
3、2003年至2009年，硕士、博士就读于上海华东师范大学历史学系，博士学位论文题目为：《现代中国的公共舆论：以<大公报>“星期论文”和<申报>“自由谈”为中心的历史考察》，期间至加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学亚洲研究所访问交流一学年。
4、2009年至今，任教于华东师范大学历史学系，中国近现代史教研室副教授，研究生导师。2017-2018年度哈佛燕京访问学者。
研究领域：晚清民国报刊史与知识分子史；回忆录、口述史与20世纪中国的历史记忆；左翼文化与20世纪中国革命等。

Bio: Tang Xiaobing is an Associate Professor from the History Department of East China Normal University， China. He obtained his B.A. （2001） in Journalism at Hunan University after which he moved to Shanghai to undertake history studies. He was awarded an M.A. （2006） and Ph.D. （2009） from the History Department of East China Normal University. During his Ph.D. study， he spent one year conducting research at the University of British Columbia.Now he is a visiting scholar of Harvard-Yenching Institute from 2017-2018.
Research field: Tang’s research topics cover modern Chinese history， particularly focusing on the change and continuity of Chinese intellectuals’ thoughts and culture， and the development of Chinese journalism in the first half of the twentieth century. Currently， he is conducting a study of left-wing intellectuals’ thoughts， behaviors and activities in 1920s and 1930s China， which is aimed at revealing the subtle and complex relations between the exchange of left-wing culture in China and the later Communist revolution.
